Bahrain Bourse (BHB) announced
on Sunday, 15
th
of April 2018 the
listing of 15 issues in the Trea-
sury Bills Market worth a total
of BD873 million, issued by the
Central Bank of Bahrain with
discount rates ranging between
3.13% and 3.61% for 3-12 months.
With the listing of those issues,
the total number of Treasury Bills
and Short-Term Islamic Lease
(Ijarah) Sukuk listed at Bahrain
Bourse became 20 issues with a
total value of BD1.364 billion.

Bahrain Bourse announced on
Thursday, 10

May 2018 the list-
ing of the Government Develop-
ment Bond – Issue No. 16 that
has been issued by the CBB on
behalf of the Government of Bah-
rain through registered brokers at
Bahrain Bourse. The bond will be
traded under the symbol GDEV16.
BND as of Sunday, 13

May 2018.
The BD300 million Bonds is-
sued at a par value of BD1 each
on 3
rd
May 2018 for a period of
2 years ending on 3rd May 2020.
The annual fixed return on these
securities is 5.50%, and will be
paid every six months on 3rd No-
vember and 3rd May every year
throughout the period of this issue.
As of Sunday, 13
th
May 2018 in-
vestors will be able to sell and buy
the bonds by placing their orders
through the brokers who will feed
them into the trading system. The
system will automatically match
the orders in accordance to the
price priority then time priority.
Following the listing of this is-
sue, the number of conven-
tional bonds and sukuk issues
listed on BHB reached 15 is-
sues with an approximate to-
tal value of US$ 7.212 billion.
