On Sunday, 25th September 2016,
a high-level delegation from the
Egyptian Exchange visited Bahrain
Bourse for two days to explore ar-
eas of mutual cooperation between
the exchanges and the practical
steps to be taken by related par-
ties in order to activate the terms
of the MOU that has been signed
between Bahrain Bourse and the
Egyptian Exchange in April 2016.
Both parties agreed on an ac-
tion plan to overcome the
obstacles that hinder the co-
operation between the two coun-
tries in the securities market.
The Egyptian Exchange Delega-
tion consists of various officials
from the exchange and Egypt
for Information Dissemination,
along with a number of brokerage
firms at the Egyptian Exchange.
It is worth mentioning that Bah-
rain Bourse and the Egyptian
Exchange signed an MOU at the
beginning of this year in order
to facilitate double entry pro-
cess between the two bourses,
as well as cooperation in en-
hancing the technological infra-
structure and informatics for the
Bahrain Bourse to contribute to
facilitating the flow of invest-
ment between the two countries.
