expressed the Bourse’s firm com-
mitment to take the necessary steps
to continue developing all pro-
grams aimed at spreading invest-

ent categories of citizens and those
interested in investing in securities
in order to benefit from the op-
portunities available in this sector.
The Chief Executive Officer of
Bahrain Bourse Sh. Khalifa Bin
Ebrahim Al Khalifa delivered
a speech where he was delight-
ed to announce that next year,
and to mark the 20th year of
the program, an Arabic Version
of TradeQuest program, which
has been running for the past
19 years, will be introduced.
Shaikh Khalifa added that the
TradeQuest Program forms one
of the essential pillars in the
Bourse’s strategy, which aims at
developing all work aspects at
the Bourse including legislative,
technical, and technological as-
pects, where one of the major
pillars of Bahrain Bourse’s strat-
egy is investment awareness.
Shaikh Khalifa also said “We be-
lieve that the youth are the engine
of growth and development. This
is practically implemented at the
Bourse where 55% of the employ-
ees are below the age of 35. That
is why a program like TradeQuest
is very important to students
who will hopefully become suc-
cessful employees in a few years”.
The CEO of Bahrain Bourse appre-
ciated the support and commitment
of the strategic partners and spon-
sors and their major role to make
TradeQuest a successful program.
TradeQuest is a simulated busi-
ness-education partnership pro-
gram that focuses on investment
trading in world financial markets,
which operated for the first time in
the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1998
in cooperation with financial in-
stitutions and educational parties.
The program is geared to provide
students close-to-life experience
in the stock markets, with fo-
cus on understanding the rules
and regulations implemented in
those stock markets, the analy-
sis and selection of stocks, and
portfolio management for eq-
uities listed on NYSE and BHB.
