BHB and Keypoint Organize a Workshop on VAT Implementation
Emotional Intelligence Session Organized
Bahrain Bourse, in cooperation with Keypoint, organized a
workshop on value added tax (VAT) for Bahrain Bourse’s
employees at the Bourse’s premises in the Bahrain Financial
Harbour.
The workshop was conducted by Keypoint’s VAT experts who
have significant VAT implementation experience across various
industrial sectors regionally and internationally.
The workshop began with a brief update on the VAT
implementation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the
United Arab Emirates, and how and when VAT is likely to be
implemented in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The workshop also dis-
cussed the technical implications of VAT for institutions in Bah-
rain and how input tax can be recovered.
Participants were also introduced to VAT compliance,
technical implications and administrative requirements for the
implementation of VAT.
Bahrain Bourse conducted an interactive session for its employees
on “Emotional Intelligence”, on Wednesday, 3rd January 2018 at
Capital Knowledge.
The session conducted by Ms. Eman Nooruddin, the
Managing Director of Capital Knowledge, was aimed at
transforming Bahrain Bourse’s employees communications and
highlighting the importance of emotional intelligence in the
workplace.
The Bourse Participates as a Strategic Partner at the ePay Summit
Bahrain Bourse participated as a Strategic Partner
at the ePay Summit that took place at the Ritz
Carlton Bahrain on 27th-28th March 2018.
The conference covered payment-related topics including
FinTech, EMV chip technology, mobile wallets, contactless and
internet banking.
