PERFORMANCE AT THE BOURSE DURING THE 1

TRADING PERIOD
The school and university teams
participating in the Trade-
Quest program presented their
trading performance during
the first period of the program.
The presentations were held at
Bahrain Bourse’s auditorium.
During the presentations, the
participating teams presented their
financial performance in both
Bahrain Bourse and New York
Stock Exchange (NYSE). The teams
also outlined the main challeng-
es they faced during this period,
t h e i r r i s k ma n a g eme n t
techniques, as well as the
performance of the com-
panies in their portfolio.
They concluded their pre-
sentations with the lessons
learned from the program.
Towards the end of each of the
three trading periods of the
TradeQuest program, the schools
are required to present their strat-
egy, objectives, and performance to
the Investment Review Committee.
The program has been high-
ly supported by various banks
and financi a l inst itut ions
throughout the past 19 years. Bah-
rain Bourse is particularly thankful
to the following institutions who
have sponsored TradeQuest this
year in the interest of enhanc-
ing investment awareness among
students: Platinum spon-
s ors include: Bank ABC,
Economic Development Board,
Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding
Company (Mumtalakat), Na-
tional Bank of Bahrain, and the
Labour Fund (Tamkeen). Gold
Sponsors include: Ahli United

The 2017-2018 TradeQuest
program includes a total of
17 school teams, including 8
private schools and they are:

Khawla Secondary Girls Schools,
Al Noor Secondary Girls School,

Ta’awon Secondary Boys School.
The TradeQuest 2017-2018
program also includes 4 university
teams, and they are: Bahrain Poly-
technic, BIBF, Royal University for
Women, and University of Bahrain.
